Scott Davis (Randall Batinkoff) awakens from a coma, only to learn that his son was killed in a tragic accident, and that he's lost his sense of touch. As Davis struggles to repair his life, he makes a connection with his nurse (Jenna Elfman), who carries emotional baggage of her own.
