It's a bug's life for residents of Host, Mo., when mutant insect larvae develop a taste for human flesh. What begins as a parasitic outbreak in the local livestock quickly threatens to swallow (literally) the whole community. It's up to veterinarian Eli (Vincent Ventresca), a newcomer to the once-sleepy small town, to stamp out the rapidly reproducing ravenous creatures.
