At the request of a damsel in distress (Helen Mack), noble cowboy Ken Maynard agrees to look out for the woman's younger brother (Paul Fix) by giving him some honest work on the ranch. But when the boy bets Maynard's money in a crooked poker game and loses it all, a blackmailer (Roy Stewart) cons the impressionable youth into robbing the Fargo Express stagecoach.
